Welcome to whole horse Vitality

Our goal is to provide educational resources and content on a wide variety of topics that are aimed at enhancing horse health and happiness. Often these topics will explore offering species appropriate lifestyles and habitats for equines, meeting proper nutritional requirements, encouraging healthy socializing skills within herds and assessing function within the horses body, hooves and mind.

  • Forage and nutritional needs

  • Freedom in turnout and habitat

  • Friends with healthy herd dynamics

  • Function of the body with a focus on mobility & an osteopathic point of view

  • Function of the hooves with a focus on overall health and distal limb biomechanics

  • Function of the mind via development of authentic connections and refined horsemanship

Hiya.

I’m Jess. Lifelong equestrian. Selflessly catering to my herd of mares. Track system advocate. Equine bodyworker. Florida native, living in North Georgia.

Exploring human anatomy, bodywork and healing modalities initially captured my interest in 2012 and led me onto quite the journey. When I returned to working with horses, my interests began to merge. I took introductory courses on equine massage, craniosacral and kinesiology taping in 2019 which was the start of the snowball. Over the last several years, I have continued to explore as many bodywork modalities as I possibly can. I am a current student at VIEO with 220+ hours of schooling and hands on training in equine osteopathy.

Looking at and addressing the whole horse is what I aim to do. This involves exploring and restoring the unique & optimal mobility for an individual horses body within all of its systems. I believe in a collaborative approach and thoroughly enjoy working with the other equestrian professionals who are also working towards the same collective goal of harmonizing horses inside and out.
